Khepri embroidery
Unique embroidery representing a winged scarab holding a sun and a half-moon between its legs, incarnation of the ancient Egyptian god Khepri.
The sun, the body of the dung beetle and the moon were made with pieces of CD covered with tinted resin.
A large quantity of gold thread was used to bring even more shine.
Embroidered on an ochre-colored linen canvas, and fixed on a 13 cm diameter black wooden drum, it required 13 hours of work.
